What’s your fuel cost from Windhoek to the coast and back? How’s N$200 sound like?

The head boy of Windhoek High School, Sybrand de Waal, and his teacher, Marien Hattingh, recently embarked on an exciting journey, driving the Nissan Leaf, an electric car, from Windhoek to Swakopmund and back for only N$200.

The pair aimed to create awareness about electric vehicles in Namibia and the difference they can make for the environment.
