Selma Taapopi, a journalist at NewsOnOne, has been presented with an award by the Ministry of Health and Social Services and the US Embassy for promoting facts and raising awareness around the COVID-19 vaccines through her news stories this week.
Asking Selma how she feels about receiving this award, she said: “I value this recognition by the Ministry of Health and Social Services and the US Embassy which appreciates the value and impact of free and independent media in Namibia”.
